Barabas Miklos (1810 - 1898)

The great Hungarian painter met the Scottish painter William Leighton Leitch in the 1830's in Venice. As a result of this friendship, Barabas was able to modernize watercolor landscape painting in the 19th-century Hungary.

This is a great painting. You've posted some nice work. Do you paint or draw yourself? You should post some of your artwork along with the masters work. Have a good one.
