This gouache on trimmed celluloid was sold in London this month.
It was made in the Walt Disney Studios for the film "Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs" in the year 1937. It was applied to a Courvoisier airbrush background an it was sold by a Edinburgh company.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a 1937 American film based on the eponymous German fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. It was the first full length animated feature to be produced by Walt Disney, and the first American animated feature film in movie history.
And they lived happily,
