Farshid Mesghali
Farshid Mesghali was born in Isfahan, on July, 1943. He studied painting at Tehran University and he began his professional career as a graphic designer and illustrator in 1964. He was one of the founders of the Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and Youth (IIDCY), where many graphic designers of later periods were trained and started their creative careers.
During years 1970-1978 he made e.a. illustrations for children books for this institute. In 1979 he moved to Paris. In 1986 he moved to Southern California, USA. He opened his graphic design studio, Desktop Studio in Los Angeles. Again he is working on a few sculptures and installation projects in his studio in Tehran.
